Verb There To Be em Inglês - Inglês Pra Tudo

No inglês usamos "There to be" para indicar a existência de coisas, no português o there to be equivale ao verbo haver, mas em inglês você não pode usar o verbo to have que tem sentido de posse.

Existe duas formas do verbo there to be no Presente;

Quando o substantivo da frase está no singular você irá usar "There is" que significa, existe, há, tem. 
Quando o substantivo estiver no plural você deve usar "There are" que significa, existem, há.

O verbo there to be na forma contraída, veja como fica;
There is -> There´s
já o verbo There are não pode ser escrito na forma contrída.

Outra regra é que nunca o verbo There´s pode ser usado no fim de uma frase.

Para usarmos there to be na forma negativa basta acresentar NOT, veja como fica;

There is NOT
There are NOT

Na forma negativa também podem ser escritos na forma contraída, veja;

There is not -> There isn´t
There are not -> There aren´t

Agora na forma interrogativa, apenas troque de lugar o there com o verbo to be, veja:

Is there
Are there
